Would you intercede?

There’s a reason for my absence on this blog for the past several days and I’m letting you in on the reason why because my family needs your prayers. I probably could have gotten a more recent picture, but I’m rather pooped tonight and the one below was the first one in my media folder of Kristen taken shortly after Ezra was born.

Our daughter, Kristen is very ill. In the hospital since last week, she’s not getting better. Her baby, sweet Evelyn is tucked safely in her womb and due to make her appearance in December. Although pre-term labor has been an issue, its not getting worse. The issue is Kristen’s health.

Therefore, we ask for prayers:

That GOD WOULD HEAL.

For WISDOM for the doctors.

That baby Evelyn WOULD BE SAFE.

That little Isaiah and Ezra (2 and 3 years old) would have PEACE. They miss their mommy.

There are MANY NEEDS – as we are attempting to take care of two little ones, help around her home, help Brandon, her husband and see Kristen as much as we can. I don’t want to be over-dramatic, but we simply need prayer…lots of prayer right now.

I am grateful (we) are grateful for your intercession.

It’s terrible to see your child so ill and it’s difficult to be the mom and not be able to even care for your own children. You want it fixed. You want it now. You want it all to go away. But I can’t. I can only throw myself before the throne and ask for God to heal. Would you please join me there…if only for a few minutes. I realize you have your own issues, your own needs and your own pleas you are casting before the God of heaven. But I DO BELIEVE that GOD HEARS US, that HE RESPONDS, that He is in the midst of it.

God is merciful, long-suffering, abounding in love and His ears are attentive to the voice of his beloved sheep!

Thank you, dear and precious friends!
